Design a kickin’ poster!

Hey Chicos! You like the GG design I made? It was okay…but I know I can do better, and maybe you can too.

So here’s my challenge to you: design a cool poster that can help your local grocery store chain promote reusable bags! Or post the poster below. Then talk to the store manager and see if you can give them a hand (here’s some cool facts to tell them, too! Click here).

Check out this video of how Kids For a Cooler Planet in New Hampshire helped sell 20,000 reusable bags in their town! We’re taking it global, I tell you.

Hey, you can also talk to the store managers and see if they’ll let you design a cool “use-again” station for boxes.

What’s up McKenzie!

That’s the best news I’ve heard all week. Remeber to remind the kids only to include used plastic bags…will you keep us updated, we’d love to see a picture of the making of the bag ball!

Hasta luego…

I am a student and my teacher told us on the day after earth day we went to green gorilla. THen we watched the video on the great north pacific garbage bag. then she was reading to us that average americans throw away about 600 plastic bags a year. Then we came up with a great idea.we are seeing in our school whose class can bring in the most plastic bags. then after one class rasies 1,000 plastic bags that class will make a ball and by the office put a moument. the ball of plastic bags and one cavas bag = 1,00 plastic bags. iwas so excited when we made our decision.
